💼 Celebrating Upland’s Finance Professionals

I’m excited to share that the Mayor and City Council proudly recognized Government Finance Professionals Week (March 23–27) with a formal proclamation honoring the hardworking individuals who keep our City running every single day.

Our Finance Team is the backbone of Upland’s operations. They safeguard taxpayer dollars, ensure transparency, and keep our City on solid financial footing, all while making sure essential services continue without interruption (and yes, even ensuring those bi-weekly paychecks go out on time). Their work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt across every department and throughout our community.

I want to thank my colleagues on the City Council for taking the time to recognize these outstanding professionals. And most importantly, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to our Finance Team for your dedication, expertise, and commitment to public service.
