Foothill Blvd Rehabilitation Project
About to begin, here are some details.

Foothill Boulevard Rehabilitation Project
October 2025 – August 2026 | Benson Ave. → Euclid Ave.
Big news for Upland’s main corridor: a $13.2 million rehabilitation of Foothill Boulevard is kicking off this fall. This investment strengthens a critical arterial, extends pavement life, and delivers safety and utility upgrades our residents and businesses rely on.
What to Expect
During construction, you’ll see temporary lane reductions, intermittent closures, and signed detours. Our team will sequence work to keep traffic moving and neighborhoods accessible, with clear signage and advance notices. Your safety is our top priority.
Why This Matters
This project is a practical, fiscally responsible upgrade that will:
Rebuild and resurface the roadway for a smoother, longer-lasting ride
Improve safety with upgraded traffic signals, lighting, curbs, gutters, and sidewalks
Enhance water service reliability with new and rehabilitated pipelines
Support local commerce and keep Foothill functioning as a strong east–west spine
Repairs & Upgrades Include
Asphalt grinding & roadway resurfacing
Curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway approaches
Water pipeline improvements
Traffic signal upgrades & enhanced lighting
Targeted landscaping restoration
Funding Partnership
This work is funded through a mix of sources, including $4 million in discretionary funds championed by San Bernardino County Supervisors Curt Hagman and Jesse Armendarez. Their support helps us stretch local dollars and deliver real results for Upland taxpayers.
