🌳 Upland Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration – This Saturday at Greenbelt Park!

Join us this Saturday, April 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Greenbelt Park for our annual Upland Earth Day & Arbor Day Celebration — a community event dedicated to environmental stewardship, civic pride, and family fun!

This year’s event is extra special as we celebrate 25 years of Upland being recognized as a Tree City USA. That’s 25 years of commitment to urban forestry, clean air, and preserving the beauty of our city for future generations.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

🌱 Free Compost & Mulch Giveaway
Start your spring garden off right! Compost and mulch will be available while supplies last. Please bring your own containers, gloves, and tools to load.

Time for a little spring cleaning? We’ll help you responsibly dispose of:

  • Large Toys

  • Furniture

  • Sofas

  • Mattresses

  • Up to 4 Tires

Protect your personal information with secure document shredding – up to 4 file-size boxes per household.

🌳 Arbor Day Tree Planting
Join our local Boy Scouts in planting a commemorative tree in celebration of Arbor Day and Upland’s legacy as a Tree City USA.

🎉 Family Fun Zone
Bring the kids! We’ll have crafts, games, and environmentally themed activities the whole family can enjoy.

Let’s work together to keep Upland clean, green, and thriving. Whether you’re dropping off e-waste, picking up mulch, or planting a tree — your participation makes a difference.
