What do residents want?
We need to hear from you!

Upland is undertaking its first-ever Parks and Open Space Master Plan, and this is one of the most important opportunities residents will have to shape the future of our community.
This plan will guide decisions about parks, open spaces, recreation programs, trails, walkability, and family-friendly amenities for the next 5–10 years. What residents say at these workshops directly influences what priorities rise to the top, how resources are allocated, and which projects move forward first. If the community doesn’t speak up, those decisions get made without local input—and that’s not how good planning should work.
Whether you care about pickleball courts, playgrounds, concerts in the park, neighborhood walkability, or simply preserving what makes Upland special, your perspective matters. The workshops are designed to hear directly from residents so the final Master Plan reflects real community needs—not assumptions.

Strong communities are built when residents show up, speak out, and help set the direction. I encourage you to attend, participate, and be part of shaping Upland’s parks for the next generation.
